Welsh 3D Archery
Our aim is always to exceed expectations
3D archery in Wales may have been in the shadow of the rest of the UK, due to that fact they we have less people and less clubs. But our goal is to change that, by running events that change the perceptions of archers across the UK.
Initially we will be running the The Welsh 3D Champs, which is a two day, two course 40 target shoot in July. This is an NFAS event and follows an adaptation of the NFAS big game scoring.
But the idea behind Welsh 3D archery is to open up to other societies and therefore a wider selection of archers. In the future we intend to run events under the guidance of other archery bodies. This will include Archery GB, World Archery and International Field Archery Association.
Warthogs, Leopards and Bears
Not the kind of things you normally find in the Welsh countryside. Our 3D targets are varied in size and species. We have European animals, African animals, and animals from North and South America.
